Quinta das Lágrimas

The Quinta das Lágrimas, in Coimbra, is one of the country’s most unique historic sites. In 2026 it marks 700 years of existence, seven centuries linked to the history of Portugal and, in particular, to the founding tale of the love between King Pedro and Inês de Castro, for which this place was one of the main settings.

The hotel occupies a former palace set within an estate of around 12 hectares of historic gardens, where rare botanical species, fountains, pathways and wooded areas have been preserved over time.
