Cavalos na Areia

In Comporta, well-being often begins before you even realise it this name. It begins in the salty air, in the rhythm of the rice fields, in the pine forest that you cross slowly and, upon reaching the beach, when the Atlantic comes into view ahead as if it had always been waiting.

It is in this setting that Cavalos na Areia has created one of its experiences most beautiful in the region: guided horseback rides through nature, with routes that cross rice fields, pine forests and dunes before reaching the the almost deserted area of Comporta. The idea is simple: swap the rush for movement, the screen for horizon, the noise of the day for a deeper connection physical and intuitive to the landscape.

For LookIN members, this partnership translates into a 10% benefit when booking horse rides. But the real value lies in what the the experience offers before and after the tour: presence, breathing, contact with nature and an elegant way to slow down without you don’t need to call it a wellness programme.

Horse riding requires attention to posture and confidence in movement, listening to the animal and respecting the place. It is an experience that compels you to be whole. In Comporta, this effect takes on a particular intensity: the light falling low over the fields, the smell of damp earth, the sand beneath the helmets, or the sea always close by.

Cavalos na Areia fits into the LookIN Club precisely because of that. It is a meaningful break, made of nature, beauty and time well spent. A very simple luxury, then: to be there, unhurried, watching the world another time.
